Online Photo Sharing

There are many web site where you can get your photos into an online album. The sites listed are for photographs, social networking sites such as Facebook and My Space have not been included.

Instead of emailing everybody with copies of photos, you can tell people to view your album online. Just give them its location, the password and they can look at them if they want to. Albums can be private or public you decide. Most compress your images when uploading so it's not a good idea to have this as your only method of storing your photographs.

These sites are popular with Photobucket claiming to have nearly five billion photos online. All companies listed provide a free service. Kodak expect you to make a minimum of one purchase a year, another requires you to visit at least once every three months, so check with the company you choose. Unless otherwise stated only JPEGs can be uploaded.
